Cookies in a jar are great favors for birthday parties and they make wonderful gifts, too! Ever since Bakerella came out with her cowgirl cookies, that’s been my customers’ recipe of choice for their party favors, and awhile back I made some free printable cookie mix circles in John Deere colors (green and yellow). By popular demand – and because cowgirl cookies are just plain amazing – I’ve made free printable cookie jar circles in a whole variety of colors, so you’ll always have a recipe to match your party theme or holiday!

The printable recipe circles come in every color of the rainbow, plus pink, gray, and popular combinations such as red and blue (for patriotic holidays like the 4th of July) red and green (for Christmas of course)!

The 2″ circles fit perfectly on the top of a mason jar. I cut mine out of card stock and used double-sided tape to adhere it in place. If you’d like to make a sticker instead, you can print onto uncut sticker stock (full sheet shipping labels) rather than card stock.

So many fun color options!!

I think the recipe looks really cute to stick a circle on the front of the jar, too. I left my jar lid “naked” but you could also cover yours with a bit of fabric.

Using every color of M&M’s is just right with a rainbow recipe label, but you can match the color of your M&M’s to your label color of choice. If your M&M color isn’t a standard one (like turquoise) you can buy specialty M&M’s at Party City or online at stores like Oh Nuts! or CandyFavorites.com.

So there you have it: cookie jar recipe circles in every color! Please download and enjoy!! : )
