I have to confess, even though my job has to do with birthdays and I…
FREE printable! St. Paddy’s Day in a Jar
Posted under DIY holiday gifts, FREEBIES, holidays, St. Patrick's Day
St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and it’s your lucky day! ; ) Here’s a free printable that will make giving last-minute St. Patrick’s gifts a snap, whether you need a gift for a teacher, friend, or neighbor, or if you just want to whip up a fun little surprise for your kids. Presenting… St. Paddy’s Day in a jar!

I designed this fun free printable exclusively for HowDoesShe blog readers (more about that later!). Here’s what the printable looks like – there’s a front and a back for each tag, and the back has space for you to write in a “To” and “From.” Super simple! So, what to put in your St. Paddy’s Day jars? How about filling them with rainbow colored candy, like jelly beans?

Rainbow Candy
Fill a mason jar with rainbow colored candy, layering from top to bottom. You could use jelly beans, Skittles, Sixlets, or M&M’s. Or coil rainbow Twizzlers into loops and fill the jar that way!

Flowers
This is an especially nice gift for a teacher: fill a large mason jar with pretty flowers in a variety of colors and add the printable tag. You could use different colors of the same type of flower, or mix and match all types. The more the merrier!

Rainbow Cake
Isn’t this rainbow cake in a jar amazing?! It’s actually really easy to make, though! To make it, Shelley from HowDoesShe put 2 tablespoons of cake batter into each muffin tin and added food coloring. Layer the finished cupcakes in a jar with white fluffy frosting in between each layer, top with more frosting and some sprinkles, then tie on a colorful spoon and your gift tag. SO pretty, and SO delicious!

So adorable, right?! I just love these ideas, they’re so bright and happy! C’mon and get the printable tags so you can brighten someone’s St. Patrick’s Day!
