FREE! Printable pink ribbon favor tag for breast cancer awareness

[download here!]

Breast cancer awareness is a cause that’s near and dear to my heart, as my grandmother was a breast cancer survivor. She had cancer at an early enough age that it was always a part of who she was, to me. Or really, the part of her that was missing: in the days before reconstructive surgery, she’d had a mastectomy. I didn’t think much of it, in the way that only children can take extraordinary things for granted, but now I fully understand what that meant for her – and what it means for me, too.

And so, when someone asked me to design a favor tag for a breast cancer fundraiser this past week, I jumped at the chance! Then I posted about it on facebook to see if anyone else might be able to use it, too, and I was surprised by the response. It just goes to show that this is a disease that affects us all.

So, here’s my little printable in big ol’ blog world, ready to be downloaded or shared for anyone who’s fundraising or hosting an event and might be able to use it. And if you can use it – thank you.

I do not think it is right to set one problem against another. The
disease is the problem and we have the power to influence where the
    money goes, or do we?

I just wanted to thank you so much for such a wonderful freebie. I have been asked to be a vendor at a breast cancer awareness day and fair at the Intercontinental Hotel in Doha, Qatar in October. Although I will be doing craft with kids, your freebie will be a welcome addition as I can incorporate some of it to enhance the craft. Fingers crossed for us that by using your beautiful product we will raise some significant funds for breast cancer research.
Fabulous job I am in awe bless you. xxx

I enjoy reading your blog and love your interest and concerns about others. I am a instructor of Urban Ball Room Dancing. Many of mystudents/ their family have been battling this enemy Cancer for many years. I my self is no Stanger to breast cancer I have lost my grandmother, three aunts and a host of cousins with-in the past few years. I have other family members and dear friends that are survival. Although I have been not to have been attacked personally by this enemy.. I have been severely effected.. seeing others and their families suffer through this tragic. I decided to do something with what I enjoy doing (dancing) and turn it into a Cancer Awareness Dancing for Life Event when I help survivors and their family financially with paying some of their bills or help buy children supplies for school. We bring awareness to the importance of early testing for both men & woman. We Support & Admire the fighter and Survivors and Honor the ones who we have lost without giving up on the Hope that one day, We will be able to fine a cure and bring healing.
This is my 2nd annual Cancer Awareness Steppin' Gala. Please like us on FB. Jacksonville Steppin' Jewels. If there is any way you can assist in helping to sponsor the event it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Sincerely, Brenda
