Vintage “Mommy and Me” Tea Birthday Party

This gorgeous shabby chic tea party was quite an exclusive birthday party! It had a guest list of two: the birthday girl and her mom, Aracely. Having an elaborate tea for two was a lovely alternative to a traditional birthday party – one that was very special for both mom and daughter.

Mom Aracely says, “I set up a tea table and other sweet stations under the trees so my daughter and I could enjoy some quality mommy and me time. I used a variety of cake stands, teacups, teapots, dessert plates, milk glass vases and compotes (all from my Minted and Vintage collection of rentals) to display the yummy desserts. The party was kept child sized, from the teacups and white chiavari chairs to the mini cakes and cupcakes. My 2-year-old loved that everything was within reach and just her size! The tea party is such a sweet memory, especially after having a big first birthday celebration, as it allowed me to spend quality time with my girl (and her favorite dolls) and give her all of my undivided attention.”
