Valentine’s Day “Book of Love” party

Charlene Hopkins of Party Envy by Charlene submitted this “Book of Love” Valentine’s Day party, and I think her party theme is just so cute and inventive! Charlene says, “I really wanted to create a Valentine’s party, and I found some inspiration at a local vintage book store. I had my theme: ‘Book of Love!’ I bought a handful of red pink and love themed books and used them to decorate the table. I really loved the color combo of pink, red, gold, and mint, so I made the sweets and decorations to match.”

Charlene took pages from vintage books and stenciled over them to create backdrops. She also turned books on their sides and used them to display the cupcakes and cake.

The little clothespin cake toppers are adorable – and homemade!

Of all the decorations, only the balloons and the banner (in the front) are store-bought – everything else was made by hand.
