I’m loving this Under the Sea dessert buffet that crafty mama Renee created for her son, Nathan! Since it was Nathan’s first birthday, Renee went all-out and enlisted the help of Creative Dezign (Sydney, Australia) to style the dessert buffet, and she used all sorts of Under the Sea theme printables to tie the theme together.

The fish and number one cookies were made by Creative Dezign. They also made the cupcakes and cake pops.

The cupcakes were served in printable cupcake wrappers with  blue icing seashells, fish and starfish on top.

Nathan’s blue ombre ruffle cake is beyond adorable. : ) The whale cake topper is by Minnie’s Sweet Creations, and the turtle, crab and starfish are by The Tinderbox Cake Decorators.

Rolls of chocolate drops were accented with cupcake topper circles (cupcake topper circles aren’t just for cupcakes!).

Renee served three flavors of blue Jell-O: Berry Blue, Blue Heaven and blue lemonade.

Hershey bars and Hersheys miniatures were wrapped in printable candy wrappers.

Renee served blue vanilla ice cream in served in a punchbowl, which is a unique touch! To make it, she softened the ice cream enough to scoop it into the punch bowl, smoothed out the top, and added rainbow chocolate bits for decoration. Then, she re-froze the ice cream until it was time to serve it.

I love the added detail of the cupcake topper circles attached to the end of each wooden ice cream spoon!

Thanks so much for sharing your party, Renee! Happy 1st birthday to Nathan!
