    • Black Candy Melts Candy (1/4 oz. makes 16 to 18 treats)

Supplies:

    • Microwave-safe container
    • 8 in. Lollipop sticks
    • Craft foam block
    • 9 in. Fondant Roller (purple guide rings used)
    • Plastic ruler
    • Knife
    • 12 in. Disposable Decorating Bags
    • Tip 3
    • Food-safe scissors

Step 1: Dip doughnut holes

Melt dark green Candy Melts candy in microwave-safe container according to package directions. Dip end of lollipop stick in melted green candy, then insert into doughnut hole. Chill until firm in craft foam block, about 3 to 5 minutes. Dip doughnut holes in melted green candy. Gently tap to smooth and remove excess candy. Chill until firm in craft foam block, about 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 2: Make masks

Use fondant roller with purple guide rings to roll out red, blue, orange and purple fondant, separately, about ⅛ in. thick. Use knife to cut fondant into strips, 8 in. long x ¾ in. wide. Cut ends to a point.

Melt white Candy Melts candy in disposable decorating bag according to package directions. Use scissors to cut small tip off of bag when ready to decorate. Pipe melted white candy on back of fondant strip, leaving ¾ in. bare at each end. Wrap candy side of strip around doughnut hole, about ⅔ of the way up. Pinch ends of strip together where they meet, extending ends outward.

Step 3: Decorate features

Use tip 3 and melted white candy to pipe eyes on fondant strip and mouth on doughnut hole. Melt black Candy Melts candy in disposable decorating bag according to package directions. Use scissors to cut small tip off of bag. Use melted black candy to pipe dot pupils. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes.

Step 4: Display your turtle treats

Repeat steps 1 – 3 with different colors of fondant to make the whole turtle team. Then display your pops in a cute container and watch your crew use their ninja skills to make them disappear!
