Sometimes, when you find the perfect party theme, you just know it! For 3-year-old Londyn, only one theme would do. Londyn’s mom Megan of Genie Leigh Photography writes, “a few months ago we took her to see Disney on Ice. She was most excited to see Rapunzel and was heartbroken when the show was over! We decided that night we would throw a ‘Tangled’ party for her birthday. It was so much fun making things and planning how to decorate.”

Nearly everything you see here is homemade, including the banner, pinwheels, tulle table skirt, backdrop, and nearly all of the sweets!

Londyn and her friends were delighted to dress up in costume for the party.

Londyn’s dad made all of the desserts – he even cut out the little flowers for the cake and painted each one purple to match the theme. Megan says, “my husband insisted on making the cake. I feel silly to admit how nervous I was about how it would turn out. I had no idea he would create such a special birthday cake!”

Each party guest’s place setting included fun favors and activities – Disney coloring books, Disney Princess paddle toys, and supplies to make a candy necklace.

Megan says, “we did have veggies and healthy food too, but the desserts were more fun to photograph!”

How precious are these party favors! Megan packaged bubble solution into tea tin containers, wrapped each tin in scrapbooking paper, then added free printable circles that I designed for HowDoesShe. The “bubbles” card is also a free printable – it’s available at Hostess with the Mostess.

“The party was everything I dreamed of,” Megan says. “I feel so lucky to have wonderful friends and family to share such special moments with.”

Thank you so much for sharing, Megan! Happy birthday to Londyn! : )
