Snowman fluff spoons

I’m thrilled to have one of my favorite bloggers, Lisa from hoopla palooza, here to premiere her awesome idea for Snowman Fluff Spoons! If you haven’t met Lisa yet, just wait… you’ll love her. She’s full of ideas that are as fun to read about as they are to make. Lisa’s so fab, I not only asked her to come write a guest blog post, but I’ll even let her write in her signature typeface. (Not just anybody can roll up in here with a big ol’ Courier font!) ; ) So without further ado… Lisa, take it away!

hiyo Chickabug peeps! i’m Lisa from hoopla palooza coming to you with my VERY FIRST guest post ever ever and i am keeping my fingers crossed that i don’t screw up on Heather’s super awesome colossal blog here!

my blog’s about all things family fun & has a lot of crafting with anything I can get my hands on, which could include my hubby and 2 kids if I can get them to sit long enough. i’m super ultra psyched to be here away from home so before i die from a heart attack stemmed from sheer happiness, let’s get this party started.

then how’s about some snowman spoons?

these have marshmallow fluff in them and can be eaten alone or dipped and melted in your fave cup of cocoa.

you’ll need some cavity forming foods.

then lay it down on a piece of wax paper while he air-dries. it takes about 10 or so minutes but time will fly as you work on the other spoons. by the time you are done with a few, go back to the dried ones and work on the neck area.

 whaddya say i just show it to you like this:

those plastic silver spoons that look like expensive flatware are the bomb! you can get them at party city or costco and i even saw some at the dollar tree. 

ok so use a toothpick on its side, covered with melted almond bark, to add the neck part. don’t forget to cover the back of the spoon too. no need to be perfect as the “buttons” and scarf will cover most of that area.

speaking of the scarf, let’s take a closer look at it. i used one airhead extreme strip per spoon & all you have to do is tie it around like so.

and those are the nestle’s holiday chocolate chip buttons by the way. the neck area dries in about 5 minutes or so.

…looking at all these snowmen makes me feel cold.
