Today’s featured party is a Sesame Street theme birthday party for 2-year-old Ava! Ava’s mom Jackie threw an outdoor party and incorporated all of the Sesame Street characters into the decor.

I love these fruit and veggie platters! There are broccoli, carrots, olives for Oscar the Grouch; tomatoes, carrots and olives for Elmo; and blueberries and blackberries for Cookie Monster.

A little pre-party setup – all the various Sesame Street characters along with the printable buffet cards that go along with them. The characters and their cards were used to label the various food and activities throughout the party.

How cute is Ava’s cake, and all the characters on it!

“Cookie’s Favorite Cookies” were served along with macarons and rugelach made from a family recipe.

Chocolate-dipped pretzels were served as “Abby’s Fairy Wands.”

A printable banner was hung outside over the lunch table.

Blue-tinted lemonade was served as “Super Grover’s Super Juice.”

The Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster favor bags were purchased from Zulily but also available on kidswoot! and Amazon.

Thank you so much for sharing, Jackie! Happy 2nd birthday to Ava! : )
