My sweet customer Melissa sent me these pictures from her daughter Zoey’s rainbow birthday party, and I love her ideas for rainbow candy displays! Check out how awesome M&M’s look layered in a large candy jar:

And did you spot the lollipops on the right-hand side of the photo, there? Melissa took regular sugar and dyed it with fondant gel dyes. After she had every color of the rainbow, she layered the sugar in the jars and stuck in the lollipops. That’s such a brilliant display idea, not only for a rainbow party, but also for St. Patrick’s Day!

Also on the menu: Chocolate covered Oreos, with more of the homemade colored sugar to add a touch of sparkle! (The printable rainbow buffet cards are available here.)

I just love a rainbow cake-in-a-jar! They look especially sweet with custom stickers on the lids.

Melissa made party favor bags using personalized printable treat bag labels. Each guest loaded up a bag with candies and homemade treats to take home.

Thank you so much for sharing, Melissa! Happy birthday to Zoey! : )
