Tickle me PINK! : ) One of my favorite foodies, Christi of Love from the Oven, has come up with the most wonderful Pink Ribbon Pink Velvet cupcake recipe that is absolutely perfect for breast cancer fundraising events and bake sales. And as if that weren’t enough, she’s also giving away a set of pink ribbon baking supplies! (Read on for details…)

Christi created her Pink Velvet cupcake recipe to help raise money for Susan G. Komen For The Cure, as one of her dear friends is participating in the Race for the Cure this year. The cupcakes are the first of a series of sweets that Christi will be sharing in honor of breast cancer awareness month!

The cupcakes would be gorgeous on their own, but they’re really extra-special with pink ribbon sprinkles and pink ribbon cupcake liners, too.

And oh? What’s this? : ) It’s a “thank you” sign from my printable breast cancer awareness set that’s available for free! I’m so touched that Christi used it in her photos. Thanks, Christi!

To complete the fundraising set-up, two printable water bottle labels are wrapped around a donation cup and the cupcakes are displayed on a cupcake tower. This type of display would be especially helpful at an event that’s not breast cancer-specific – that way, people will know at a glance that you’re asking for donations (and that you’re grateful for what they can give, too).

So! To get you ready for your own fundraisers, Christi is generously giving away a set of Pink Ribbon baking supplies, including cupcake liners, sprinkles, and a cookie cutter. Fabulous!! You can enter to win at Love from the Oven. Send Christi some love when you do! : ) A winner will be chosen on Friday, October 14, 2011.
