Pink lemonade ice cream

I think this is the year I’m going to have to invest in an ice cream maker. And this is the recipe that’s going to make me do it: pink lemonade ice cream!

The secret ingredient (shhh) is frozen pink lemonade concentrate, plus a little food coloring to get the lovely pink hue. Add sprinkles and it’s an instant party! ; )

I love this recipe because you don’t have stand over the stove worrying about cooking the eggs and ending up with breakfast ice cream. This recipe is very versatile because you can switch out the pink lemonade concentrate for any other frozen concentrate you may find at the store!

Pink Lemonade Ice Cream
1 cup whole milk
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp heavy cream
1/2 can frozen pink lemonade concentrate
1-2 drops red gel food coloring
1. In a large bowl, whisk together milk, sugar, and vanilla until sugar is dissolved.
2. Stir in heavy cream, pink lemonade concentrate, and food coloring until mixture is completely combined. Then stir a little longer just to make sure.
3. Transfer mixture to ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions.
