How to make paper lanterns

Paper lanterns are so festive and fun for a summertime party, and you can easily make them on your own! It only takes a few basic supplies, and with all of the pretty paper choices in stores like JoAnn’s, Michaels and Hobby Lobby, the design options are endless. Best of all, since they’re small, you can make them into a garland!

By following the instructions in the tutorial, you end up with miniature lanterns – a little less than 4″ tall – but once you learn the basic method, you’ll see how easy it is and how you can adapt the instructions to make larger lanterns, too.
