How to make bowling party favor bags
Posted under bowling, party favors, sports
If you’re planning a bowling party, you’ll know this is the truth: a cute bowling party favor idea is a little hard to come by! (Especially if you’re looking to make something by hand.) That’s why I was so thrilled to come across this adorable party favor bag idea by Ashleigh and Kathryn of Bee In Our Bonnet.

To make the bags, Ashleigh hand-cut bowling pin shapes out of sticky-backed foam and created the ball shape using a craft punch. She stuck the foam shapes onto an acrylic block, brushed the shapes with paint, and stamped the images onto the bags. Finally, she added stripes to the pins using a fine-tip marker. (Be sure to check out the entire tutorial at Bee In Our Bonnet!)

With such a sweet gift bag, you could really put anything inside and call it a day, but I had an idea for a bowling party favor that I think is really cute. A picture is worth a thousand words, here:

Eek! The black gumballs are like bowling balls – cute, right?! And I know I usually don’t go for the inexpensive plastic stuff, but the trophies kinda seal the deal here. (The one shown in the picture is available at Party City.)

One last idea, because I just adore this picture and haven’t had the excuse to show it off until now: this is the printable bowling party favor tag that’s available in my shop (the twins version is here)! I feel like these tags work the same magic as the cute hand-stamped favor bags – you could put anything you want in that bag and it would be adorable. : )
