How to make a SUPER superhero cake!
Posted under food & recipes, superhero
I have a secret weapon when it comes to birthday cakes… a source where you can get everything you need to make a professional looking cake, all on your own. You get a box full of supplies in the mail, you follow the step-by-step instructions, and BAM! You’ve made a fabulous, brag-worthy, homemade cake. So what’s the secret? I’ll tell ya… it’s Ella Vanilla Cake Kits! Recently, my friend Shelley used an Ella Vanilla Cake Kit at her son’s superhero birthday party (along with some superhero water labels and stickers from my shop, too!) and the cake turned out so cute, I just have to show it off! Here’s the finished product:

Here’s how the superhero cake decorating kit looks when you receive it (I’m obsessed with the gorgeous yellow box!):

It comes with paper baking pans, fondant, starburst cutters, ribbon, the decorative blue stars on wire, a food writer pen, an instructions booklet, and lots more.

Once the cake was finished, Shelley displayed it with personalized superhero water bottles and red chevron paper straws, which were a perfect match!

The cake was a huge hit with Shelley’s adorable son Noah.
