One of the things I'd like to do with my shiny new blog is to…
I love twin goldfish parties because the only thing cuter than one lil’ goldfish is two! This party was put together with lots of DIY love by crafty mama Susan for her twin boys, Will and Owen.

The balloon wreath on the front door and the party poms inside set the color scheme of aqua, navy, and orange. The party poms were homemade – Susan bought packages of tissue paper at Hobby Lobby and a friend made the poms.Β Total cost? 99 cents each plus ribbon!

More homemade decor – Susan made the banner using scrapbook paper from scrapbook.com. She printed the letters out onto colored paper, then assembled the banner using a paper cutter and ribbon.

Goldfish crackers and Goldfish snack containers are perfect favors, of course! Susan says, “I put the container and a package of Goldfish in a favor bag (Hobby Lobby) with some blue paper shred (Wal-Mart) and tied it with ribbon and a printable from Chickabug.” The plastic goldfish scattered on the table are from Target’s seasonal section.

Check out this goldfish-in-a-bowl cake. The gravel is Nerds! (LOVE that detail!)

Here are cuties Owen and Will wearing their personalized t-shirts from Etsy.
Thank you so much, Susan! Happy birthday to Owen and Will!
