Garden fairy party: Lynlee is 4!
Posted under Birthday Parties, fairy, parties for girls, princess
Butterflies, flowers, and fairy princesses were the theme for 4-year-old Lynlee’s birthday! Crafty mama Shera made almost everything herself, creating a girlie, glittery party full of pink and purple.

I love this sweet photo that Shera took of Lynlee’s invitation!

Lynlee and her fellow fairies snacked on fruit kebabs, cookies, cupcakes, and punch.

This adorable “welcome to my garden” sign was a great find from Hobby Lobby.

These DIY toadstools serve as party decor and as a photo op! Shera says, “Each child was given a tutu and wings for the party favor, and I wanted to create a backdrop using the toadstools to photograph each little fairy. For the toadstools my coworker gave me the two spools, though you can find similar ones at a hardware store. I spray painted the spools white and bought foam and red polka dot fabric from Hobby Lobby to make the seats. I also added grass mats from Hobby Lobby at the bottom of the stools.”

The centerpieces were made with grass mats, butterflies, and toadstools – all from Hobby Lobby. To save money, Shera says “I decided on my theme early so I would buy things at Hobby Lobby when the items were on sale, or I’d use their weekly coupon from the website.”

The pink-frosted cupcakes were decorated with printable cupcake wrappers and toppers and displayed on white cake stands (one stacked on top of the other, to add height).

The fun flower straws are from Dollar Tree.

I was surprised to hear these precious cookies were homemade! Shera says, “I love baking as much as party planning! I get all my cookie tips from Sweet Sugarbelle. The mushroom, caterpillar and snail cookie cutters were purchased from Karen’s Cookies.”

These magical fruit fairy wands were made using a tutorial by Pottery Barn Kids as inspiration.

To make the number 4 wreath, Shera hot glued tissue paper roses to poster board, then hot glued a soda can tab to the back for easy hanging. (Such a good idea!) The butterfly accent came from Hobby Lobby.

Here’s fairy princess Lynlee, all dressed up and posing on her toadstool! So sweet.
Thank you so much for sharing, Shera! Happy birthday to Lynlee!
