Merrrry Christmas from me and HowDoesShe! We have a little gift for you! After releasing…
“Can of Snow” – Free printable and faux snow recipe
Posted under Christmas, DIY holiday gifts, FREEBIES, holidays
This “can of snow” is the sweetest and thriftiest little gift ever! You can make any child’s Christmas a white one. : ) All it takes is a paint bucket, the free printable label that I designed for HowDoesShe, and a batch of faux snow (which I do have a recipe for – read on!).

The 3-ingredient faux snow is light, powdery, and glittery!

The printable label goes all the way around the paint can, and there’s a round design for the lid, too.

The back of the can includes a list of ingredients like “Fresh Grade A snow flurries collected from the North Pole” and “tidings of good cheer.” The instructions are written for children to follow (“Put your can of snow in the freezer to keep it cold. No peeking – you don’t want to let the magic out too soon!”).

The perfect finishing touch before giving the can of snow as a gift is, of course, a paint can opener!

The recipe for snow is very easy: mix up a ratio of 2/3 kosher salt to 1/3 corn starch, then add glitter until magical. : )

The can of snow isn’t just fun for kids to receive as a gift – it’s also great fun to make for others. My friend Shelley at HowDoesShe made these cans of snow with her girls and said they had so much fun mixing up their snow!

I hope you love this printable as much as I loved making it! Enjoy!! : )
