Mom Melanie sent me some lovely photos from her daughter Kamila's cherry theme first birthday…
Equestrian party: Halle is 8!
Posted under Birthday Parties, horse, parties for girls
This lovely equestrian themed birthday party for 8-year-old Halle is going to blow you away! It was styled and photographed by Hana of The MomTog Diaries, whom you might remember from Halle’s mermaid theme 7th birthday (an equally impressive and beautiful party). This year’s party was held in the stables where Halle rides, and the decor was rustic, vintage, and definitely all girl!

The party table featured a DIY backdrop made from an old pallet, vintage ribbons purchased from Etsy and Ebay, a DIY tassel garland, and burlap and muslin tablecloths.

Halle’s birthday cake was a pink ombre ribbon cake, topped with a tiny horse and a shabby chic cake bunting.

The macarons were made by Southern Rise Baking Company.

The “wood” straws were a great find from TJ Maxx.

Hana made the ring toss game from soda bottles and a combination of latex and chalk paints (getting the layered effect by painting a base coat, then adding on light, incomplete coats of different colors on top). The rings are made from embroidery hoops wrapped with fabric.

Each party guest received a rosette ribbon at the end of the party. Hana says, “Everyone received 1st prize but the guest of honor was Best in Show, of course!”

The party favors were mason jars filled with caramel popcorn.

Hana made the pin the tail on the pony game by “tying yarn to various buttons and adding a little bit of tacky to the back.”

Of course the party had to include pony rides!

Just absolutely beautiful!! Thank you so much for sharing, Hana! Happy 8th birthday to Halle!
