Elmo party: Isaiah is 2!

This Elmo theme birthday party is so cute and creative – and it’s all DIY! It was created by Allison of You Have Your Blog, We Have Aars for her son, Isaiah. The theme is all about Elmo with hints to the other Sesame Street characters, like Oscar the Grouch and Big Bird. My favorite detail: the hand-drawn overhang for “Mr. Hooper’s Store”!
The decor was all done in Elmo colors – red and orange. I love the casual style of placing party poms on the tables and allowing the balloons to float to the ceiling!
Red cupcake wrappers were made into Elmo faces with the clever addition of just a few paper circles.
Rice Krispies treats were labeled as “Big Bird’s Birdseed Bars.”
The trash can is labeled “Oscar’s Trash Toss,” of course!
And for the parting favor, Elmo’s favorites… goldfish (crackers) and crayons. So sweet!
