Mom Melanie sent me some lovely photos from her daughter Kamila's cherry theme first birthday…
Today I’m happy to feature a dress-up theme birthday party that my sweet customer Stephanie threw for her 5-year-old daughter, Abbie! Both boys and girls were invited to come eat sweets and dress up in costumes and fancy outfits. It was a party fit for a princess (or prince)!

A printable happy birthday banner was hung across the doorway. The banner pieces were tied together using turquoise ribbon.

The party table had a pink tablecloth, yellow backdrop, and bright pink poms. Guests ate cake, cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, and candy.

The pink ruffle cake is homemade, using this tutorial to create the buttercream ruffles.

The gorgeous candy buttons (yes! These are candy!) are from The Frosted Petticoat.

Colorful paper straws from Target were decorated with printable straw flags from Chickabug.

The sparkling juice bottles are from IZZE, with water labels from Chickabug. Steph says, “I searched high and low for a ‘non-soda’ beverage in a bottle with labels that were easy to peel off!”

The dress-up stations were homemade using these plans. The “Dream” and “Imagine” letters are from Michaels, and were adhered in place with Gorilla Glue.

There were loads of accessories to choose from for both boys and girls – princess crowns, wings, jewelry, purses, Hawaiian leis, feather boas, hats, masks, and more!

Drinks were served in vintage blue Mason jars from Michaels, with personalized stickers added.

Each guest went home with a goody bag decorated with a printable favor tag.

Thank you so much for sharing, Steph! Happy birthday to Abbie! : )
