Breast Cancer Awareness Month is almost upon us, and I’m grateful that so many people are planning on using my Breast Cancer Awareness printables kit (in English) for their fundraising events! The kit has become so popular since I designed it last year that I’ve received many requests for a version in Spanish, too. Just one catch: I don’t speak Spanish. I know just enough to say “no hablo Español.” ; ) But fate stepped in when Ausonia, a well-known company in Spain, contacted me. Ausonia has teamed up with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (aecc) to raise funds towards breast cancer research, and wanted to let their Facebook fans know about the printable kits. Of course, being able to give their fans a kit in Spanish would be ideal, so Ausonia offered to professionally translate the kit for me – a wonderful and generous offer!

To help present the new Spanish printables kit, the amazingly talented Christine from Pure Joy Events coordinated and styled a photoshoot, and Xiaolu of 6 Bittersweets took these beautiful photos (and contributed the delicious cupcakes, too). I am incredibly grateful to Christine and Xiaolu for making the printables kit come to life, and I’m thrilled that this new kit will be of use to Spanish speakers in America and all over the world, including Ausonia’s fans in Spain!

The fondant cupcake topper is by Lynlee Beckett of Lynlee’s Petite Cakes.

The table and wire basket were on loan from Le Village Marché. The store’s gorgeous brick walls and antique woodworking served as the perfect backdrop for the photoshoot.

Xiaolu of 6 Bittersweets baked the pink-frosted cupcakes and took all of the photos.

Christine from Pure Joy Events did all of the styling and papercrafting, including her signature paper rosettes. She also made the pink ribbon candies (inside of the favor baggies) – these were made from tinted chocolate poured into a mold.
