Bowling party: Evan is 5!

I’m always really impressed by my customers’ creativity when it comes to styling up their printables. This bowling party is a great example of how much you can add with ribbons, card stock, and a good dash of craftiness! It’s the handiwork of crafty mama Misti, who put this party together for her son Evan’s 5th birthday.

Misti added a hand-cut red background to her DIY printable sign, then hung the sign from a mix of ribbons in aqua, red, and white.

The red circles are included in the design of my DIY cupcake set, and then Misti added extra circles using aqua and white card stock.

The hand-cut “explosion” backers really add a lot to the cupcake toppers, and they’re so perfect for a bowling theme! Misti made them without a template – she just cut them freehand from card stock and scrapbooking paper.

Evan’s DIY printable banner was assembled by punching holes into the top corners of each triangle, stringing the triangles onto a ribbon, and then tying on extra ribbons between the letters for that little extra somethin’!

Hand-cutting all those extra backers: that’s love in the details, right there. : )

Absolutely gorgeous job, Misti – thank you so much for sharing! Happy 5th birthday to Evan!
