I’m sure everyone has that one friend that takes party-planning to the next level, right? Well, for me, that person is my amazing friend Courtney. I found it’s actually impossible to capture all of the Halloween magic she creates – she’s decorated every room of her house, plus the front and back yards – but I did get some really fun pictures of her party to share. I also have some ideas as to why her parties are so much fun, even the men line up to go! ; )

Party food is spooky and fun! Desserts were put on a table inside the house, while drinks and snacks were on separate buffet tables outdoors, giving guests a good reason to move around the party.

Halloween decorations were everywhere – including lots of small groupings of prized collections. (Not shown? The entire Department 56 Halloween village. That would be a post in and of itself!)

Adults got plenty of time to socialize because there were so many fun activities for the kids. Okay, so the moon bounce might be a little over the top… but it sure kept everyone happy! ; ) There were also separate areas for a piñata and for making your own s’mores, and several sets of tables and chairs where you could sit and eat. So much to do and lots of areas to go check out!

As a fun little activity and party favor, kids got to choose a numbered rubber duck out of a giant cauldron. Then they got the coordinating prize packet with little goodies inside, like stickers and temporary tattoos.

The coloring and pumpkin carving table was a huge hit with the older children, and at the end of the party, the kids each got a treat bag to take home. Everyone had a fantastic time! Only one problem: how would you top a moon bounce for next year’s party? ; )
