It’s a very lucky little girl who has an amazingly talented cake designer for a mom! 4-year-old Jasmin has just that – her mom is Lisa Mcintosh of Cakes & Biscuits by Lisa. Jasmin requested an ice cream party for her birthday, and Lisa created a beautiful Ice Cream Shoppe complete with one of the most gorgeous and unique ice cream cakes I’ve ever seen!
In addition to making all of the sweets on the table, Lisa also made the beautiful striped backdrop. Lisa says, “The table canopy framework made by my very clever Dad and sewn by me.”
All of Lisa’s sweets were labeled with individually personalized buffet cards. I love the double-scoop ice cream cone cake pops!
Now that is an amazing cake, and also quite a feat of pastry engineering! ; )
I designed Jasmin’s invitation and other printables, including custom chocolate bar wrappers.
The paper straws and mini milk bottles are from Invite Me.
Check out the intricate detailing on the pinwheel cookies!
Jasmin had a wonderful birthday despite having suffered an injury shortly before the party. Lisa says, “I had always wanted to put together something special, and then even more so when 5 days before her party Jasmin fractured her leg and ended up in a full leg plaster cast!”
Thank you so much for sharing Jasmin’s party, Lisa!
