TOO excited about today’s party feature – a golf party full of clever ideas! It was put together by crafty mama Lauren for her one-year-old son, Liam. The party was LOADS of fun for all the guests (just check out the photo of the golf cart rides!), and I adore the “Guess the T’s” game! {Photography by Megan Belanger Photography.}

Liam’s candy buffet features all-green candy – mint leaves, licorice, rock candy, gummy rings, and Sixlets in two different shades of green. The silver scoop is tied with a green ribbon that matches the trim on the table. Printable party decor includes a banner, buffet cards, and signs.

A second table is loaded up with all kinds of desserts: cakes, cookies, cake pops, cake balls, brownies, and “sand traps” (frosted Rice Krispie treats).

The smash cake and cupcakes are all homemade – including the little flags! Lauren and her cousin Allison used golf ball molds and Wilton’s melting chocolate to make the golf ball toppers. Liam’s smash cake is a giant version of the cupcakes, but with sprinkles!

How adorable is this idea of “Guess the T’s”! Even better when you find out the story behind the game. Lauren says, “We put 522 T’s in there, since that’s Liam’s birthday – 5/22/10. My husband came up with that one! Clever isn’t he!”

Lauren bought golf visors at Michael’s and personalized them for each child – pink for the girls and green for the boys.

Everybody got a chance to take a golf cart ride during the party – TOO fun!

Isn’t Liam a cutie? Lauren said “he was like the Mayor socializing with all of his 80 guests.” (Aww!)

Green favor bags from Michael’s are dressed up with large size stickers from my shop – perfect for guests to grab their treats!

An absolutely lovely party – thanks so much, Lauren! Happy birthday Liam!
