{one pretty pin} Golden Oreo party

This party is so chic! A black, gold and white birthday party, with glitter and sequins and a fabulous Oreo “cake” (which I also featured in my post about non-traditional birthday cakes). I love the simple gold circle garland in the background! And the Oreos. Did I mention the Oreos? ; ) See more of this amazing party here. Featured pin • Original source: Lisa Ho via Style Me Pretty • Photography: Laura Clarke ...

Party Palette: Fall party

This is just an absolutely perfect color palette for a sophisticated fall party! Instead of bright orange, there are pretty shades of brown, peach, and even a bit of coral. It absolutely screams “fall” without using a single leaf (and only the tiniest of pumpkins). Really lovely. Circus birthday party: TJ is 4 and Taylor is 1!

Step right up, it’s a circus theme party for brothers TJ and Taylor! This amazing party was styled by Brittany of GreyGrey Designs. She incorporated lots of classic circus details straight out of a big top, including tickets, circus animals, clowns, popcorn, cotton candy, and red-and-white-stripes. The showstopper was definitely the huge, lit-up marquee “T” that Brittany made as the party table backdrop! The welcome wreath was made using tickets from Oriental Trading and printables from Chickabug. The ticket ...

This homemade mixed paper backdrop by Alana Jones Mann is a real stunner! It’s all DIY, save for the largest tissue fans. The rest – garlands, flowers, fans, pinwheels and all – were handmade. Lovely! Featured pin • Original source: Alana Jones Mann • Pinned to: Party Decor Ideas

Believe it or not, all of these are sweets! I just love, LOVE the idea of a dessert buffet that looks like it’s “regular” food… but it’s NOT. How fun would that be! Very Hungry Caterpillar party ideas

I really adore classic party themes, especially ones based on books. The Very Hungry Caterpillar is definitely one of the most beloved books of all time! The adorable caterpillar eats 1 apple, 2 pears, 3 plums, 4 strawberries, 5 oranges (plus a piece of chocolate cake, an ice cream cone, a lollipop, a cupcake, and whole lot of other stuff, too!) so the party menu is a no-brainer. And there are lots of really creative ways to make the party cute. Here are ...

{one pretty pin} Simple garland

This party table is so understated and gorgeous, in almost all white with pops of bright color. I love the round circle garlands, which are made from three sizes of circles in a rainbow of colors. I also love how they’re casually draped across the table and on the wall – it’s so casual, yet on-purpose stylish. Featured pin • Original source: Sweet Style Blog • Pinned to: Party Decor Ideas
