Adorable ideas for a Very Hungry Caterpillar party!

I really adore classic party themes, especially ones based on books. The Very Hungry Caterpillar is definitely one of the most beloved books of all time! The adorable caterpillar eats 1 apple, 2 pears, 3 plums, 4 strawberries, 5 oranges (plus a piece of chocolate cake, an ice cream cone, a lollipop, a cupcake, and whole lot of other stuff, too!) so the party menu is a no-brainer. And there are lots of really creative ways to make the party cute. Here are some great Very Hungry Caterpillar party ideas:

1. Very Hungry Caterpillar birthday cake by Butter Hearts Sugar

2. Very Hungry Caterpillar invitations from Chickabug

3. Leaf serving trays (set of 12) from Amazon

4. Grape and tomato caterpillars via Little Food Junction

6. Applesauce caterpillar-and-apple cupcakes recipe by Betty Crocker

8. Very Hungry Caterpillar sandwich platter via Mini Mocha
