Did you spot the jars of bubble mix that were given as party favors in the dress-up theme birthday party I featured last week? Today let’s take a closer look because the bubble mix jars are such a great idea! They’re easy to make, cost-effective, and you can customize them for any theme, not just a dress-up party. Oh, and kids love ’em! They’re pretty much just awesome all-around.

Making the jars is simple. You just need clean, empty jars (these are baby food jars), spray paint or craft paint, super glue such as Liquid Nails, and a small plastic toy. The ballerinas on top of the jars are from A is for Apron Strings.

You can also make DIY bubble wands using pipe cleaners.

Check out how different these jars can look with a green-painted lid, and an army man or a dinosaur. You really could make these for any theme!
