Recently I had the honor of working with Kate and Yolanda of Kiss Me Kate, a premier event styling company based in Melbourne, Australia. Kate and Yolanda were creating a lovely butterfly-themed dessert table for a bridal shower, and I was instantly on board with their vision of an all-white color palette with silver accents. I designed printables to suit the subtle and sophisticated theme, using classic pinstripe and quatrefoil patterns, and of course a few butterflies as accents. The rest of the magic (and there is a lot of it!) was all Kate and Yolanda’s doing, including the gorgeous desserts they made. I must say, I’m in awe of their talents, and I’m thrilled to share their photos today!
Silver beading is a luxurious touch…
…and the white butterflies and tulle are a the perfect backdrop.
Just a hint of blue for the bride-to-be (“something borrowed, something blue…”).
Utterly gorgeous lace detailing on the cookies!
Glittered butterflies rest on pure white cake pops.
Custom-wrapped chocolate bars await the guests. Note the gorgeous textured linen tablecloth!
