I have a real soft spot for train parties, so when I spotted this tutorial on how to make a train cake topper, it caught my eye right away! I love the soft colors and the simple shapes, and best of all – it’s a tutorial for fondant beginners that’s really for beginners. (Because it’s always a little sad when you go to try a “super easy” tutorial and find that it’s still too difficult, right?!)

You can read all about how to make the train cake topper – along with some extra bonus train cars! – at Cake Journal.
