Last-minute 4th of July desserts - all made by dipping store-bought food into icing!

All four of these pretty treats have something in common: they’re all made by dipping store-bought food into icing. So, you could easily make ALL of these with little more fuss than making just one of them, really! Super-simple, super-fast, and just homemade enough to say “why yes! I did make these!” (Be sure to pat your face with flour first for the best effect.) : )

1. Chocolate covered strawberries via Grin and Bake It

2. Double dip sugar cookies (Betty Crocker)

3. Dipped pretzel flag via poca cosa

4. Dipped sugar cones via Noble Pig

PS. All of these would be perfect for a nautical theme party, too, don’t you think?

...looks to me like all but the cookies are dipped in white chocolate, not icing.  But I supposed icing could work, too.

You're right! I was thinking of those chocolate drops, melted - I call that 'icing,' but I guess it's not, really. Icing is like what you buy in a tub, right? Thanks for pointing that out!

That's such a good idea - I didn't even think about Presidents' Day when I put this together!
