Easy zebra cookies

I don’t know about you, but I see lots of gorgeous cookies featured on party blogs that I love… but would never be able to make. That’s why this cookie jumped out at me right away! An adorable theme cookie that I could actually handle! ; )

The recipe, photos, and stroke-of-genius cute factor are courtesy of Sarah at Daily Nibbles, and you can view her step-by-step instructions here. Thank you, Sarah!

PS. For tips on achieving the perfect shade of pink, check out this post at Life is Sweets!

Okay, so I've made the traditional peanut butter cookies...and the food coloring I'm using isn't turning my cookies pink but a dark maroon.

Red + brown = maroon. : ( It needs to be white sugar cookie dough so you get red + white = pink. I hope this helps!
