If you’re looking for creative Under the Sea buffet ideas, look no further! Crafty mama Meg came up with loads of cute names for the food at her son’s party, not to mention some perfectly color-coordinated decor. Here’s all the details on Hunter’s party under the sea! : )
The entry wreath was handmade by Meg’s good friend Lauren Castine of FreckleBug Boutique. The wreath base is from Michaels, and Lauren wrapped it with ribbon and spray glued on the paper animals that were cut out using her Cricut machine.
Lauren also made the party poms that hung over the food tables, and the lanterns were from Party City.
Meg ordered stickers from my shop and used them in creative ways – such as on the vase and on the mini buckets that hold the utensils!
Are you ready for the buffet cards?? Here they are! Specially personalized cards included:
Peanut butter & jellyfishes
Crunchy Coral (veggies and dip)
Salty Shells (goldfish crackers and Wavy Lays)
Yummy submarines (sandwiches)
Saltwater Seaweed (spinach dip)
Fan-sea Treats (cookies & cupcakes)
Octopus Arms (cold pasta salad with veggies)
Fruit of the Sea
Water bottles – on ice! The labels really are waterproof. ; )
Printable cupcake wrappers and toppers make the blue and white iced cupcakes perfect for the theme.
Boys, girls, and babies each received their own gift bag decorated with a cupcake topper circle. The two newborns at the party got pacifiers and bath toys. The boys’ bags included baseball hacky sacks, driveway chalk, bubbles, and squirty fish bath toys. Girls got bangle bracelets, large “diamond” rings, a jump rope, a maze game, and lots more. (Lucky kids!)
Thank you so much, Meg! Happy first birthday, Hunter!
