Every year, I make at least one or two Christmas ornaments. This year, I’m thinking felt – especially since I’ve been invited for an afternoon of crafting by Denise of Felt Playground (otherwise known as my best friend). : ) I’m going to have unlimited access to all manner of felt scraps, every color of thread under the rainbow, and – most importantly – someone who actually knows how to sew!

So, here are the choices I’m considering! I think I found some wonderful projects, so I wanted to share. (I may not be the best crafter, but I’m a pretty darn good Googler.) Enjoy! : )

DIY felt pinecone Christmas ornaments

These absolutely lovely felt pine cones were featured by Twig and Thistle. The full instructions and template are by Family Circle.

DIY figgy pudding Christmas ornaments. Cute!!

These figgy puddings are adorably adorable! I spotted them on Tip Junkie – see the full tutorial at Bugs and Fishes.

DIY monogrammed felt Christmas ornaments

Felt monogram ornaments would make wonderful gifts! Tutorial by say YES! to hoboken.

DIY mistletoe Christmas ornament

I love that this mistletoe is both homey and modern. Lovely work by stay-at-home artist!

DIY peppermint candy Christmas ornaments

These classic red and white peppermint candies by Pink Suede Shoe are so sweet. (No pun intended!)

DIY felt bacon ornament. Adorable!!

And last but certainly not least… happy bacon!! HA!! I spotted this bit of genius on Craft Gossip. See the full tutorial on Seremeres.

Now I just have to pick one… which do you like best?
