I’m in love, love, love with this super-sweet theme! It’s a welcome party for an adorable baby named Indigo Ryder. (Isn’t that a fab idea? A welcome party!)
The party was put together by Renee of Luminoso Blu. Renee is a talented event planner in Brisbane, Australia, but most important, she’s Indigo’s proud mama!
Renee had a clear vision for Indy’s party (and even created the invitation herself!), but contacted me for a few custom printables to match. I’m so impressed by how she used what I came up with – she even invented a NEW use for printable water bottle labels! Read on to see… : )
Renee describes the kite-and-clouds theme perfectly: “innocent simplicity.” Absolutely wonderful for a brand new baby!
Fifty guests – family only – celebrated baby Indigo on a beautiful day in the park. Renee’s mother made the multi-colored, rustic fabric bunting!
I adore these cookies – so modern and beautiful!
Simple flower arrangements and a fresh blue and white gingham runner make the perfect backdrop for the sweets table.
I love the yellow of the lemonade among the blue and white. And do you see it? The water bottle label? Yes! It’s used as a decoration on the favor bags! What a fabulous idea. : )
The contrast of the chocolate cupcakes is so pretty! Each is topped with a printable circle on a toothpick. (Aw!)
A second set of cupcakes feature custom kite toppers, each printed with an “I” for Indigo.
Renee made great use of her printables – the cupcake circles were also used to create candy bar wrappers!
Here’s sweet baby Indigo Ryder and his beautiful blue eyes. : )
