I made this little printable on request (through Facebook – hint, hint!) and wanted to offer it through the good ol’ blog, too. You can use the template to create a fabric bunting in a variety of sizes, or you can use it to make a paper bunting, too.

{CLICK HERE to download}

Enjoy!! : )

    Thank you so much! I have been searching the web to find free printable banners and this is just what I needed to get started. What is the best way to string these to make a garland, if using paper or fabric? Fold over and glue or some other way?

      I'm so glad my template is what you needed! : ) I can tell you that for paper, it's easiest to hole punch the top corners and then thread a ribbon across the back of each triangle. For fabric, though - hmmm. I am really inexperienced when it comes to sewing!! I know customers have used this template to create fabric banners, but I'm going to have to ask around and see how they did it!

    I attempted to print (download) one of your free fabric bunting patterns but am unable. When I try I get a Google request to make an account. Is this how it is supposed to work? Is your site a Google site? It seems- appears to me to be- not. I will be grateful for a reply so that I can understand the problem. Thanks for the free pattern, in advance. Mike

    You could print template ,then use a letter or design that fits into area and copy (over-print). Seniors would then color design to use as bunting. Cut the shape out and string and hang....Valentine's day is soon..great group project.

    Wanted to let you know that I used your pennant pattern to make my grandson's Curious George 1st birthday banner for his high chair. You're a lifesaver. I couldn't find anything to buy or even a sample of what to make.

    (you probably don't care about all the details so you may want to skip this paragraph)
    I made 2 layers in different sizes; yellow on red. The multiple sizes on a single sheet made it easy to downsize my original cardstock cutouts when they turned out to be too large. I added felt stickers to spell out O N E, and then decorated the side pennants with Curious George stickers - both from Amazon. I finished off the top with blue velvet ribbon that matched the felt stickers perfectly.

    I'm saving the pattern to use again next year for whatever his current interest turns out to be. Thank you for offering this for free.

    I found you using Google images with the search terms: pennant banner pdf (in case you want the info for future marketing)
